Nikon coolpix s3000 error installing drivers on XP

I tried this solution for  WinXP **
in device manager

• image -->  unknow device
• trying uninstall
• error failed to unistall the device. the device my be required.......

My solution is:

 at the moment you are connecting the camera with the PC you need to have the directory \I386 available (CD or hdd or ...) and let the installation hardware application run, find and install the drivers inside the camera.

( in my opinion no need for any other fix or driver)

**sp3 but using a old installation CD with Sp2 for the D:\I386 directory availability
